| Who's Karri Ramo???? |
Karri is someone you should know if you call yourself a hockey fan. Karri is the present and the future of hockey goal tending! Am I sounding a little biased??
Strategically speaking, Karri is much more consistent with his game than his fellow goaltending teammate Mike Smith. If I recall he was also much more consistent than Johan Holmqvist (i still miss you though homer!). But why is Mike Smith getting more game time and more more more experience than my dear Karri??? Here is my theory, Mike Smith is a maniac! I am not sure if he wants to be a center or a goaltender sometimes. He's very active, too. He's gotten the team out of some tight ones, but he too has put the team through some rough spots with him leaving the net open 35% of the game. I think, Coach T has a thing for Mr. Smith. Not in a homosexual kind of way. I think that he likes this new style of goaltending, though he thinks it can be a bit risky at times. That's why he is getting more time than Karri. Does that make any sense to anyone other than myself? Probably, not. In my opinion Mike Smith is a loose cannon and needs to learn his place in the game and stop putting us in tight spots!!!!
Back to Karri!!! So, my dears, Karri Ramo is this new, up and coming goaltender in the NHL, who happens to play for my favorite team! He has some major skills and some great cognition. What's a goalie if he can't think worth crap? He's another Finn. The Finns are taking over hockey, which I think is a good thing. His personal life I can't tell you much about since I am not in it!!! But, I wouldn't divulge any of his information anyway, haha!
In one of the best moves that the lighting could make, they recalled him to replace Marc Denis (he deserves a blog all his own) and back up Holmqvist. Why it wasn't the other way around, I will never know.....Who's is Karri Ramo?? Well, I wish I could answer this question entirely, but I don't know who he is entirely. When he and I become husband and wife, then maybe I will have more to write about. Me and Karri, hahahahahWhahahaH! |
